Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using an application that allows you to save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

A mapping function will help your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running over wires, furniture, or stray toys. These are essential features to have in my home, which is filled with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it's a natural choice to be with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and even lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, with the ability to recognize pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is the highest power of any other robot vacuum we've examined to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad at more than 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it goes from tile to laminate hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its standard vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a appealing choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. If you can afford the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It has an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed very well across the home. It removed 98.4% debris on any type of floor and managed to lift long hair without getting caught up in. The mops were also great, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion and an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dries its mop pads for you. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops I've tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's numerous high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance and care. Its base station has to be cleaned out and the water and dust tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will need to be changed periodically.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop robot mop and vacuum you could purchase but its cost and frequent maintenance will make it more of an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself as it moves and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean to rinse off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot and it receives a constant supply of fresh Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage bin. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you opt for this option, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot vacuum best brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaners.

Like many robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests, but this may be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot hoover and mop that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it still has some amazing features. The multi-function dock emptys the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair from carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides many options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo did well in our tests, as all Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system is reliable that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized fashion. Its 'Normal" pathing setting covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as thick carpets but may not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

The machine has a major flaw: it does not have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's an easy solution: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of each session. The mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces and dust that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice touch and can help the robot to clean up a little bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
