WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of weapon or armor. Upgrade costs differ based on the item slot, and the current item level. For example weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones.
