Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly capable, acing our cleaning tests and tackling different types of floors. Look for models that let you choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging dock to self-empty, and clean up stairs.

A lot of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Find an application that lets you save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set up schedules and modify the behavior of the S1.

When I tried the S1, it was quick to map our downstairs, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even across raised thresholds without issue. However it was a bit difficult navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it reached carpet or carpet.

The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank on board with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary based on how often you use the mop.

Its robot vacuum with mop vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station, as needed.

The robot is simple to setup and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot cleaner with mop is unable to reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or refilled. It also has a number of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that is able to easily pick up dust and debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Mopping capabilities are quite good with a pair of spinning mop heads that are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. However, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, including the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by eliminating mopping functions and using a lower-cost plastic body.

Although it's no longer able to mop floors, the Q5 has some of the best robot hoover mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also has a clever app that lets you select the type of floor and schedule cleanings, and an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa power that can take on pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it could not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that lets it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums can't. The device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters which further reduces the costs associated with using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if required. The app also allows you to mark off areas you want to avoid and is a great feature.
