Roasting

As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is soft on the palate and softens into a warm embrace for your senses. The cocoa from Latin America is used to smooth out the brew while Africa provides citrus notes to balance. The result is a 1 kg coffee beans which can be enjoyed on its own or paired with cake, milk chocolate and other sweets. It would complement lemon drizzle cakes and vanilla sponges.

When making this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel with some off the boiling water to keep it warm and ready to brew. After brewing, let it sit for 4 minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are completely saturated and not over extracted. The water should be pushed through by the plunger. Do not stir or agitate your coffee as this can result in unpleasant odors appearing in your cup.

Lazy Sunday is a soft light roast that has the sweet, citrus and cocoa smell. It has a silky and supple mouthfeel. The hints of cocoa can be traced back to a winter's afternoon spent on the couch with a good book and a warm hug from the family. To brew the coffee first heat your French Press with off boil water. This is recommended to stop the coffee from extracting too much and forming unwanted elements in the drink. Add your grounds along with 250ml of water that has just boiled. For 4 minutes, simmer, plunge and enjoy.
