The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard floors. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the click of a button. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or go for two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do and can remove pet hair with ease. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the best robot vacuum and mop for luxury vinyl plank floors robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create low noise, which means you can work or watch TV without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move away if it comes across one.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something requires attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify the way that Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or if there's a lot of items that need to be cleaned out regularly, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best hybrid robot vacuum and mop performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors with the first go. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best hardwood floor robot vacuum and mop known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any best vacmop robot we've tested due to its mop pads rotating to clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great, but they also make the L10s more of a premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the house. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house.
