It's designed to take children from newborn to toddler with three configurations. Liz found the seat and carrycot easy to click on and off and the new head support cushion made her oldest very happy in either parent or world-facing mode. The only issue was folding, which takes some practice to master. When folded, it can fit into a car boot of medium size. Rain covers are also included.

A good all-terrain pram is a must if you love forest walks or more adventurous off road exploits. They are also great for those who want to be able to run with your child and will cope with rough terrain and kerbs more easily than regular pushchairs. They are generally slightly more robust than compact, light pushchairs. They may also have different tyres to deal with rough terrain. Some have a lockable swivel front wheel, and some - especially those that are specifically designed for running - have brake controls on the handlebar, too.

The iCandy Swift has an excellent reputation in the all-terrain buggy market and MFM reviewer Kath found it "navigates well over grass, bumpy pavements cobbles, dirt tracks and cobbles and can handle the slope of kerbs that are steep". The suspension and the large 16" air-filled rear tires ensure the children with a smooth ride.
