The best robot Vacuum & Mop Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums robot. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to avoid obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is superior because its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has, which are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves on.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong for example, low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create or merge rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpets and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best robot vacuum cleaner known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the best robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, detect different flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. But while these functions are nice to have, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel is a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to help you map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop effectively, without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and removing all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
