Bentley Keys Are Bold, Adventuresome and Uncompromising

The Mulliner division will be celebrating Bentley's 100th anniversary next year with a Mulsanne special edition. It pays homage to the company's founder father, W.O. Bentley and includes a piece of one of his cars.

The model is ordered with a standard Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. It was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. was using as his personal vehicle. Its influence can be felt throughout the interior, including a Mulliner illuminated cocktail cabinet with an opening window that shows a slice of the original crankshaft from the 8 Litre displayed inside.

W.O. is emblazoned in an air vent in the shape of a B on the chrome application through the back of the vehicle. The front grille is modeled after 1930s-appropriate Onyx and there's a chrome-colored application on the lower spoilers to the left and right. The front grille also features distinct design, featuring chrome-colored shells replacing the body-color mesh of the Mulsanne. It also features the Flying B Logo.

A keybox engraved with the Bentley wings can hold two keys, and comes with a black flock lining. individual key pouches are also available to complement or contrast the key box. The set commemorative also includes a bespoke 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and flying paperweight and an unpublished brochure with previously unpublished images of the original 1930s 8 Litre.

The knurling of the metal-to-metal key fob resembles the textures you'll find in the interior, like the seat temperature controls and the shift knob. Van Braekel says, "We wanted the knurling to look as consistent and attractive" as possible. It was important to keep the dimensions and shape of the fob in line with the same shape and size.
