The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a excellent choice if you're on a budget and do not need a stroller which can also be used as car seat carrier. It comes with a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also a breeze to push and feels sturdy when you're navigating kerbs and woodland paths. Plus, it's a dream to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Xplore also features dual canopies that turn from front to back, providing ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This isn't ideal for long drives or naps.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy however, it isn't able to bend like other wagons that we tried. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition and it doesn't secure when folded. It is easy to move however, and can be able to fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and size folded which means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a car trunk or closet. It also comes with the option of reclining in multiple positions and an adult cup holder. Other features of note include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels, as well as two large hanging storage bags.

In our test of the push and turn, it did better than many of the other strollers that we tested, but it's still not the easiest to maneuver over uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

It is really easy to maneuver, and the one-hand reclining of the seat and the super large shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child in and out quickly. The narrow pushchair sailed through everyday bumps and doorways easily.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position, or they can pivot. This is helpful for navigating through rough terrain. When we walked on the stony path, we let them move and it performed well, though it did appear slightly bumpier than other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is best known for its three-wheeled, all-terrain strollers that jog. However, they also manufacture a vast selection of pushchairs with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is simple to use and folds small enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers we test, but since it has rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-made. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains and even with two kids with shopping bags and other items.

The carrycot and seat both come with hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does come with a huge basket that's deep enough for an infant's changing bag and plenty of food items. You can also use it with the Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies who weigh 20 pounds or less (car seat and adapters are available separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to take a stroller on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of a lot of parents when it first debuted. It's a frame made of aluminum that will see you through your baby's early days and beyond. It is a standout model with many unique features, like the capacity of the seat to be turned between the parent and the world as well as a large UPF50+ canopy with a flip-out eyeshade, and an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis comes with a built-in suspension system that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made from tough foam and minimise punctures. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through tight streets with ease.

This budget single convertible stroller pushchair is surprisingly easy to handle and has excellent dual suspension, a one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It is also lightweight and durable. The seat is reclined in several positions. It has a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat features two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors and both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal because it's not as quiet as Velcro and could cause sleepy babies to wake up.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be adapted to accommodate twins or siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and even works with some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be placed so that they face each one. They can also be positioned to face the parents. This will help reduce sibling arguments over who sits with mom and dad. It has a huge bottle holder, a gear tray, snack trays and the ability to change mats. It also has an automated frame lock as well as a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger that's ideal for parents who want to keep active. It's one of the lightest running strollers that you can purchase for your child. The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets or infant car seats as of yet, but you can use it from the beginning by purchasing adapters for the majority of seats made by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It is easy to fold and put together in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The instruction manual is easy to read and contains a variety of languages.
