WoW Upgrades - The item upgrading Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boosts in certain statistics. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for those with higher variance due to the requirement to roll an exact version.

The cost of upgrades will vary based on the current level of the gear being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than buying new gear from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Upgrades are useful items that are used to improve the quality of weapons, tools, armor, and accessories. Players can purchase them from item upgrader mod upgraders NPCs in a variety of currencies.
