3 Wheeler Buggies

A three-wheeled buggy is perfect for off-roading and provides a smooth ride for baby. This creates a lower center of gravity and a perfect weight distribution. This makes it much easier and lighter to push, especially when you're on bumpy terrain or curbs. MFM reviewer Kath was impressed with the way this kind of seat negotiated these challenges.

In addition to a big shopping basket, this kind of buggy typically has some quite useful features, such as an extendable 50+ UV hood, a simple brake pedal, and some bright, game-changing lights that come up from the handlebar and can be placed in front of the passengers to increase their safety when traversing difficult terrain.

Storage

The 3-wheeled frame is much more sturdy and can be moved with just one hand. It's also ideal for terrains that are difficult to navigate. The shopping basket is smaller than a 4-wheeler.

Tyres

Air filled tyres are designed to provide your child with an easier ride by cushioning bumps and uneven surfaces. She also noted that the grippy tyres on it made it easier to handle kerbs and cobbles.

These tyres can be difficult to maintain and will need to have their air pressure maintained regularly. They are also more vulnerable to punctures than foam tyres. So you'll need to make sure that you have a repair kit with spare tubes and a pump in case you go traveling with your buggy.

PU tyres can be found on pushchairs as they are less expensive than air-filled tyres but are equally durable. PU tyres are easily identified by their matte finish and soft feel. They also glide well on even and tied surfaces.

If you run your hand over the tyres, you can determine if they're PU or rubber. If it feels like it's sliding, then it is a rubber or PU.
