Christine Quinn said 'I do' to millionaire businessman Christian Richard in a gothic winter wonderland ceremony in 2019.

The Selling Sunset star, 35, and the retired software engineer, 45, exchanged vows in a fairytale wedding and were poised to have their happy ever after. But five years later the reality beauty is now facing the biggest crisis in her marriage.

On Tuesday, her husband was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon in Los Angeles, after he threw a bag of glass at his wife but struck their toddler son.

Richard was seen being led away in handcuffs while barefoot and clad in only a bathrobe after the incident involving the couple's only child, Christian Georges Dumontet, two.

As Quinn navigates her marital woes, DailyMail.com takes a look back at the pair's unforgettable wedding with a 'wicked twist', where the bride wore black.

Christine married the retired software engineer in December of 2019, in Los Angeles.

She looked like a glowing bride, even though she was sick with coronavirus at the time. Her off-the-shoulder black gown was a princess style and full of lace and sheer panels as her groom was dapper in a black tuxedo.

The opulent wedding gown had a very long train and a sheer black veil that commanded attention and stood out in stark contrast against the all-white room.

The star also took to Instagram to share a beautifully filmed clip from her wedding day where she sat on the stairs of the cathedral with her husband.

Christine's wedding ceremony had a Gothic winter wonderland theme, in all white with a reception that had a red theme.

They tied the knot at a downtown Los Angeles cathedral in front of 75 friends and family, and even had black swans in attendance.

Christine later wore another stunning custom made black gown to the reception, also made by designer Galia Lahav.

The winter wonderland wedding was put together in just two months by Beverly Hills event planner Lisa Lafferty with 'love' as the budget and included black stallions, a bleeding cake topped with gargoyles, and real snow in Los Angeles.

Christine told People magazine: 'We wanted to get married in December to start off the New Year [as husband and wife]. And a winter wonderland theme with a wicked twist is memorable forever.'

Talking to Goss Chats, she said: 'I was really, really sick on my wedding day. I actually had, which I now know, was corona.'

'I got really sick in late December and we were travelling. I was sick for about a month when we were filming.

'I couldn't even have a bachelorette party, I was so bummed about that. That time was such a high but a low at the same time.'

Christine also told People she did not like how her wedding was shown on Selling Sunset.

The TV standout said she was disappointed and 'just didn't really showcase the way that it was.'

'The wedding was the best day of my life and it was hard for me to watch it on the television show because that's not really the way that I remember it,' she said.

Her co-stars Chrishell Stause and Davina Potratz were there and the show focused on the drama.

'I understand they wanted to get certain storylines in there, but this was actually my day,' she said. 'This was my day, and I was just disappointed in the way it was perceived on camera and translated, unfortunately. I'm not going to lie, I was crying when I watched it. I was like, "This is not my wedding, this is not my wedding."'
