French Door Refrigerator With Ice Maker Review

They're easy to open and close, but I found their plastic textured coatings a bit hard on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator has all the features you would expect from a refrigerator in this price range. It has Wi-Fi as well as app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from anywhere around the world. It also comes with a lot of customization options. It also sends you notifications when the door is unlocked as well as when the fridge or freezer must be defrosted and when the filter requires a change.

The fridge was rated the best refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for several reasons. The freezer temperature remained steady at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never changed more than a fraction - this is essential to avoid freezing burn. The fridge's fridge section also performed well, achieving the desired temperature for initial set within an hour and keeping that temperature steady throughout the course of our tests.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S is a top counter-depth refrigerator that packs plenty of storage into a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge has a standard French door design, with two rows of shelves that can be used to capture spills and a set of crisper drawers. The upper right shelf can be folded down to give tall items more headroom. There's also a full-width drawer to store products from the deli and an inside water dispenser.

This refrigerator has a freezer with an ice maker, making it easy to transfer the ice when needed. The freezer also has clever design features, like sliding drawers that allow you to organize your items. It also has a huge bin that can accommodate plenty of frozen food items as well as a separate container for storing ice.

Smart InstaView panel is a cool feature of the refrigerator. You can manage the temperature, lighting, and more of your fridge from your smartphone. It's a simple way to keep track of your fridge and manage it, especially when you're away from home.

Although the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it doesn't necessarily improve the overall performance of the refrigerator. The refrigerator took longer to chill food and defrost it than some others we tested. This could be due to its bigger capacity.

The temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge did not vary significantly from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. That's a good performance, but it doesn't quite be among the top in our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also combine this fridge with a smart thermometer to get more precise readings of your fridge's internal temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of gray-bodied stainless with a "smudge resistant" finish. It does a great job of repelling fingerprints and streaks even when compared with glossy stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
